Who we are
L’Istituto per i Beni Musicali in Piemonte (The Institute for Musical Heritage in Piedmont) is a non-profit association which anyone can join upon payment of the annual social fee.
With the support of the Department of Culture of the Piedmont Region, the Fondazione CRT (CRT Foundation) and the Compagnia di San Paolo, it promotes studies, researches and documentation, publications and recordings related to the culture and musical civilization of Piedmont. It organizes exhibitions, conferences, conventions and concerts.
It also deals with the inventory, classification and cataloging of the bibliographic musical heritage of the Piedmont Region understood both in its current geographical meaning and in its wider historical meaning.
